Business Hours (7am – 5pm) Monday – Friday

Parking entrance EmpireDuring office hours, there is always plenty parking space available in the Wits Club/Alumni House vicinity on West Campus with a dedicated visitor entrance to the Wits Club, operated by Olives & Plates. This gate is only accessible from 7am – 5pm, Monday – Friday and is for entry only. Vehicles must exit at the Yale Road gates.

Please note that ride hailing vehicles such as Uber are not allowed on campus during business hours Monday – Friday. The drop off and collection zone, for all e-hailing services (including the Gautrain bus), is outside the Solomon Mahlangu House on Jorissen Street

After Hours and Weekends

Enter campus at any of the main entry points. There is always plenty parking space available on West Campus. Ride hailing vehicles are allowed on campus after hours and on weekends.

Traffic control measures at Wits are designed to ensure the orderly admission of vehicles to campus, free flow of traffic and disciplined use of parking space.

Visitors may enquire with Campus Security personnel at the entrance gates for available parking if parking has not been pre-arranged.
